Aims and Objectives Object #1 To improve mental and physical health for the public benefit using homoeopathy, and in particular but not exclusively to provide homoeopathic treatment for socially and economically disadvantaged people, particularly but not exclusively in Herefordshire. Actions Establishing links and working with voluntary and community groups, charities and social services to offer treatment to their client groups as appropriate. Offering outreach work to access potential client groups in more rurally isolated areas of the county. Organising fund-raising and awareness-raising activities within the local and health care communities. Establishing links with statutory health services, GPs, midwives, health visitors and social services in order to make homoeopathy a referral choice. Object #2 To promote study and research into homoeopathic treatment and to disseminate the useful results of all such research Actions To collect data from all consultations using MYMOP (‘Measure Your Own Medical Outcome’) or other established validated methods of health outcome monitoring. To use other methods of research as appropriate in order to establish the effectiveness of homoeopathic treatment and the value placed upon the service provided. To publish all useful data for the benefit of other homoeopaths, service providers and other health professionals. |
